The Altar Guild

 

The Altar Guild serves by ensuring Immanuel’s chancel is maintained and prepared for the times and seasons of the church year.

​

Communion ware is cared for and set for distribution; paraments, linens, and candles are set out, cleaned, and stored appropriately.

​

Five teams, consisting of about 6 members each, rotate by the month. Thus, each team member serves once or twice, every 5th month. Duties generally take less than an hour to complete.
