As we plan our move back to a sense of normalcy, please understand that the situation if still very fluid. The Board of Elders will continue to monitor CDC and Synod guidance and adjust accordingly. We ask for your patience, feedback and prayers as we continue to navigate through this pandemic.
Before Coming to Church
Are you feeling unwell? Are you currently suffering from any COVID-19 related symptoms such as fever, sore throat, loss of smell and taste? Have you been around someone who is thought to have COVID-19 or is awaiting test results? If you answer yes to any of these questions, It is best to stay home and try again a different week once it is safe.
Have you traveled out of the country in the last month? If yes, make sure to check whether or not the country you visited is listed as a country that requires quarantine for 10 days upon return.
When you are at Immanuel:
Seating at all services will not be assigned. We will block off every other pew and ask all who attend to self-social distance.
Communion pads will return to provide the option of kneeling or standing to receive the Lords Supper.
The yellow attendance cards will return to the pews. Please fill this out and write your pew number and side (lectern side or pulpit side) on the card.
Elders will greet you upstairs and we will not take temperatures.
Receive the wonderful gift of God's Grace in His Word and Sacrament, singng the hymns, and enjoying the sermon.
Starting May 29
Saturday evening services will continue to be a fully masked service. We ask that all participants wear their mask even if you are fully vaccinated.
Both Sunday services will be “Mask Optional” for our fully vaccinated members. If you are not fully vaccinated, please continue to wear your mask. We rely on everyone’s Christian conscience with this matter.
Ushers will direct individuals to proceed forward for communion. One pew at a time from each side will progress forward. Please give individuals adequate time and space to move into place in front, maintaining six feet of distance at all times.
When finished at the front, proceed to the side aisle for your pew, drop off your disposable cup in the normal location and return to your seat. Following the full completion of communion, the Pastor will lead all in a blessing before dismissing.
After the service
After worship you will be dismissed by pew, back to front, non-pulpit side then pulpit side. Use the side exits back to the Outer Narthex and then proceed downstairs.
On your way back downstairs you will find the offering plate. Please drop off your offering then. Use hand sanitizer on your way out, if you wish.
Exit the building out the same doors you entered. The doors will be automatically held open so a no-contact departure is requested.
